Katie and Joel!

Just met with Katie and Joel and gave them their engagement photos! It was really cold and windy the day of the shoot but we had a BLAST and got great images! I love it, Katie has this beautiful, genuine smile in nearly every shot! They are an adorable couple (see for yourself!) and I can't wait to catpure their wedding in July!

What a great Saturday!

This morning at 10am I had an engagement photo session with Kristi and Steve at Officer's Row. They are SO MUCH fun, can't wait for their wedding in two weeks! I shot FILM (they are fans of film!) so I can't yet post photos of the shoot. But I will soon.

The rest of my day/evening was spent capturing Holly and Keith's wonderful wedding day!! The ceremony was at the Grotto and the reception was held in a private room in the Portland City Grill (30th floor of the "big pink tower of power"). So many things about this day were amazing. Gorgeous flowers. Adorable twins (ring bearer and flower girl). I got to see some old friends and even one of my August 05 brides! The weather was not too bad - cold but clear and nice light - they were happy to frollic outside for fun, beautiful environmental photos after formal portraits in the church!! Holly was the coolest, didn't really care if her dress got a little dirty - she was all about nice photos. LOVE that! Keith and Holly are the kindest, most sincere people and TOTALLY in love. Check out a few of their photos... don't miss the multiple cakes set on a table overlooking downtown Portland. Nice. I'm tired and my feet hurt but I am amped up - I LOVE shooting weddings and this one was very special!

Ellen is the COOLEST organizer ever!

As some of you know, I have the world's greatest professional organizer helping me whip my office into shape! I've been fortunate to have so much business I haven't made the time to keep up with the organization and my space is NOT cool. YET. Soon it will be. Enter Ellen Damaschino of Neat Organizing. She's a hoot, we hit it off immediately! I got to take images of Ellen for her soon-to-be updated website! Last week we went to the hipest Office Supply store called OFFICE - it's on NE Alberta. I wanted to capture Ellen's cool personality and Office was the perfect place for the lifestyle shoot! Attached are some of my favorite images. Hope you like them!
